BTCCSquare news:

Blockchain VC firm Blockchange Ventures led a $3 million seed round for Unicity Labs, with participation from Middle Eastern super app Tawasal and Web3 investor Outlier Ventures. The Zurich-based protocol developer is building infrastructure for AI agents to transact peer-to-peer without intermediaries—a market projected to exceed $100 billion by 2032.

The Unicity Protocol leverages cryptographic architecture to enable machine-speed negotiations between autonomous agents. Founded by ex-Guardtime cybersecurity engineers, the team has established a Swiss foundation to oversee open-source development and governance.

This funding arrives as AI agents evolve from tools into economic actors. The protocol’s trustless marketplace model could disrupt traditional intermediaries in sectors like decentralized finance and data trading.
